Welcome to today’s 502 Trifecta as Louisville takes on Indiana in Indianapolis in what should be a statement opportunity for the Cardinals. This matchup features Louisville against a program still stuck in the 80s and one that plays like diet Louisville with similar strengths and similar weaknesses but nowhere near the same level of talent or execution. Indiana continues to live off memories while Louisville enters with more upside and a far stronger identity. With the Cards looking to bounce back and the Hoosiers struggling to find anything resembling relevance this is the perfect spot to attack the board with a +425 502 trifecta.
Today’s trifecta includes:

Louisville -4.5
Mikel Brown Jr. Over 17.5 Points
Sananda Fru Over 6.5 Rebounds at +120
Louisville -4.5
Indiana is not in a good place right now. The Hoosiers are coming off a loss to Minnesota who is widely considered a bottom tier Power Four team. Their overall makeup feels like a lighter version of Louisville. They have similar strengths and similar weaknesses but are simply not as good or as polished as the Cardinals.
Louisville is coming off a tough loss at Arkansas where the Cards were competitive and had stretches where they controlled the game. This sets up as a strong bounce back opportunity. Louisville typically performs well in big game environments and this one qualifies. The Cardinals should have the advantage in scoring consistency, athleticism, and physicality. We expect them to cover the 4.5 point spread.
Sananda Fru Over 6.5 Rebounds at +120
This leg offers the best value of the three. Indiana has been a poor rebounding team and consistently loses positioning and box out battles. Fru plays with a high motor and thrives in matchups where he can attack the glass freely.
He should control the paint and find plenty of opportunities. At plus money this play stands out as one of the strongest value props on the board today.
Mikel Brown Jr. Over 17.5 Points
This is a play we will continue to hit until the books adjust the line higher. The number is simply too low for the volume and usage he brings to the floor.
Brown’s performance at Arkansas was similar to his preseason showing against Kansas. He was off in the first half and still regrouped to score efficiently later. Despite Louisville losing that game he still cleared 17.5. With Indiana’s defensive struggles against dynamic guards this sets up as another strong scoring night for him. A bounce back game is very likely and another 20 point performance is well within reach.
Today’s 502 Trifecta lines up perfectly. Louisville controls the matchup the props offer real value and Indiana once again looks like a program still stuck in the 80s. Put it all together and the +425 payout or +510 with a boost sets up as one of the best plays on the board. Louisville should rise to the moment and we expect Brown and Fru to deliver exactly what this trifecta needs.
