Matty Moneylines Week 4 CFB Parlay

TCU ML -270

TCU comes into the game at 2-0 with a high powered offense led by experienced QB Josh Hoover. I LOVE TCU in this matchup as SMU comes into this game after only an 18 point win as 30 points favorites. SMU’s defense this year has been terrible, specifically their defensive backs. This is where I think a veteran offense with Josh Hoover at the helm can really take advantage of a poor defense that gave up 48 points to Baylor. TCU comes into the game ranked 9th in yards per game, while SMU’s defense comes into this game giving up 29.0 points per game and 5.7 yards per play. I do think this is also a high scoring game but I give the edge here to the Horned Frogs and think they can pull out a big time win.

OKLAHOMA ML -260

This game is a big time SEC matchup and a revenge game for Jackson Arnold (Auburn QB) going up against his former team. Oklahoma’s defense this year has been awesome only giving up 3.4 yards per play and a 20% 3rd down conversion rate. Although they haven’t really played anyone besides Michigan, they only gave up 13 points in that one (would have been 10 points if not for a muffed punt). Auburn does have the receivers to put some pressure on the Sooners defense but I do not trust Jackson Arnold sitting in the pocket and having to make plays with his arm. Give me the Sooners and Heisman hopeful John Mateer to get the Sooners a big home SEC win.

FIU ML -225

I like this spot for the FIU Panthers as they are playing their second game in a row at home. They got a big win last week against in-state rival FAU. Delaware is in its first year at the FBS Division 1 level and are coming off a big win against UCONN in overtime last week. This is a brutal spot for the Blue Hens this week. 2 weeks ago they went out west to play Colorado and last week had to come back home to the east coast where the played an emotional game that went into OT. This week they hit the road again and have to go down to Miami to take on team playing its second straight home game. Delaware also has its bye week on deck and I think this travel spot and emotional let down gets to the Blue Hens here. Give me the FIU Panthers at home to keep up their winning ways.

UTEP ML -260

Probably didn’t think I would throw the UTEP Miners in here did you? I am already on UTEP -5.5 and this is a great chance to double down on the Miners at home. Last week, UTEP performed admirably and Miners QB Malachi Nelson even outperformed Arch Manning in that game. The UTEP offense seems to be trending upwards and will not be tested even close to the same amount it was last week against Texas. This should feel like on-air practice for the Miners offense this week as the ULM defense is giving up 8.4 yards per play. Although those numbers are skewed due to a blowout loss against Alabama, I don’t see this ULM defense having much success stopping the pass against UTEP.

North Texas ML -125

North Texas comes into this game at 3-0 after a rout of Washington State 59-10. Army suffered a surprising loss against FCS Tarleton State and bounced back with a big win against Kansas State. I’m not sure if that win is all that impressive as K-State has been a dumpster fire this year. One of the big advantages service academies have is that they run a totally different offense than the rest of the country, but I am not too worried about that here as North Texas played Army last year so they know what to expect and how to defend it. Army wants to run the ball here and I think this Mean Green defensive line can have some success as they have only given up 3.3 yards per rush this year. The North Texas defense as a whole has also been tremendous only surrendering 20.0 PPG this year while the offense is averaging 46 PPG. The way to attack this Army defense is through the air as the Army secondary is the weakest group on the field giving up 172 yards through the air a game. The Mean Green can throw the ball, averaging 235.5 passing yards per game. In my opinion, this is where the game is won with North Texas taking advantage of a shaky Army secondary. Give me the Mean Green on the road to continue their unbeaten start.

This parlay is a little chalky, but it’s got a great chance to cash and give you a little extra spending money for some drinks Saturday night. Let’s Cash!
