College football is back. The long wait through summer workouts, transfer portal drama, and preseason chatter is finally over. Now it is time for helmets under the lights, rivalries on the line, and the first bets of the season. Week 0 may be a smaller slate but it is the perfect appetizer before the chaos of Week 1. We locked in two spots that jump off the board and we are ready to kick off the season with winners.
Kansas State -3 vs Iowa State (-110)
Kansas State opens at home and that makes a difference in a rivalry game like this. The Wildcats bring back experience on the offensive line and a steady quarterback to lead the way. Iowa State will always compete on defense but they struggle to score enough to keep up for four quarters. With the crowd behind them in Manhattan, Kansas State has the edge and we are confident they can win by more than a field goal.
Hawaii ML vs Stanford (-135)
The nightcap belongs to the islands. Hawaii enters year three under Timmy Chang with momentum and familiarity in the system. Stanford is rebuilding and traveling across the Pacific for the season opener is never an easy task. Hawaii has the continuity and the home field advantage. We like the Rainbow Warriors to start strong and take care of business straight up on the moneyline.
Closing Thoughts
Week 0 is not about volume, it is about finding the right spots. Kansas State at home and Hawaii in the islands are two of them. As always our picks are free. Ride with us or fade us, either way the games are back and that is what matters most.
